Comedian Josh Widdicombe has had his appendix out.

The Last Leg lynchpin posted a picture of himself on Instagram smiling in his hospital bed, with the caption: "Can highly recommend having your appendix out, absolute time of my life on morphine."

Widdicombe has a busy year ahead of him. As well as doing a benefit gig in Edinburgh this summer alongside Joel Dommett and then playing the Greenwich Comedy Festival in September he is also going out on the road. Bit Much…will see Josh tour the UK from October – December 2019.  Dates here.
