News: NextUp Joins Up With Amazon Channels

On-Demand comedy video service NextUp has now launched on Amazon Channels.

Subscribers to Amazon Prime will now have access to their ever-expanding roster of live shows.

Recent releases include shows from Hal Cruttenden and Ed Byrne.

The company launched last November to showcase the work of new and established performers and adds news shows to its catalogue all the time. They recently added shows from Alexis Dubus, Bec Hill, Rachel Parris, Johnny Pelham and Glenn Wool. Their label has already featured critically acclaimed shows from comedians including Richard Herring, Tony Law, Fern Brady, Simon Munnery and Lou Sanders. You can currently also watch a show from Jordan Brookes, who was nominated for a lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

NextUp recently announced their first major distribution arrangement – an agreement with Virgin Atlantic who will be featuring NextUp originals as part of their airline entertainment.

Monthly subscription costs just £3.50. It comes with a 30-day free trial, so you can sign up without any long-term obligation. Shows are also available on a pay-per-view basis via iTunes and Google Play.
