HARRY HILL'S LOOK AT LOVE

If you enjoyed BBC iPlayer's Matt Berry Does... series then its a pretty good bet that you will enjoy this. Hill's romantic one-off employs the same technique of slapping an absurdist commentary onto obscure – and here sometimes not so obscure – footage, which is edited together so fast there is no chance of ever being bored. So one minute Hill is sending up old public information films featuring men with oily hair and braces, the next – echoes of TV Burp – he is putting the boot into C4's First Dates.

It's all very funny, particularly when Hill delivers his delicate version of sex education: "the lady's bridge is lifted for the gentleman's barge to proceed..." There's also an examination of the difference between genders, a brief guide to modern dating options – "Tindr, anglegrindr, pandabotty" – and some clips of some beautiful women. Though I'm sure one of them was Mick Hucknall. Nice.
