Cheerful Earful Comedy Podcast Festival Returns

Cheerful Earful Comedy Podcast Festival Returns

The CHEERFUL EARFUL Podcast Festival, the first ever comedy podcast festival, will return to London this Autumn with some of the UK’s biggest and most beloved comedy pods performing live.

From Tuesday 31st October until Sunday 5th November audiences will have the chance to watch headliners THE JOE MARLER SHOW (Joe Marler, Tom Fordyce) and SOCIALLY DISTANCED SPORTS BAR (Elis James, Mike Bubbins and Steff Garrero), plus top pods such as SHAME IS DELICIOUS (Eshaan Akbar, Darren Harriot), NOBODY PANIC (Tessa Coates, Stevie Martin) and CUDDLE CLUB (Lou Sanders).

Staged across beautiful venues run by the award-winning Three Cheers Pub Co., including festival hub The Bedford in Balham, this year will also see the return of many fan-favourites, including TRUSTY HOGS (Helen Bauer, Catherine Bohart, Andrew White), LOREMEN (Alasdair Beckett King, James Shakeshaft), BIRTHDAY GIRLS HOUSE PARTY (Beattie Edmondson, Camille Ucan and Rose Johnson) and PAPPY'S (Ben Clark, Matthew Crosby and Tom Parry).

Festival founder Giles Gear said: “Cheerful Earful is a joyous celebration of the podcasts that keep us entertained and laughing week-in, week-out. As well as showcasing some of the country’s most popular pods, it’s a platform for smaller shows to connect with a new audience and grow. We are also indebted to Adelicious, our lead media partner, for their continued support of festival, which allows us to keep it free to perform for all the shows as well as our venue partner, the Three Cheers Pub Co., who backed us from the beginning!”.
