Chris Ramsey Reveals The Truth About Michael McIntyre's Midnight Game Show

Alexander Armstrong is the latest celebrity to gett Midnight GameShow treatment on Michael McIntyre's Big Show

Comedian Chris Ramsey has spilt the beans on some questions viewers at home have been asking about Michael McIntyre's Midnight Game Show.

The Midnight Game Show is the section of Michael McIntyre's Big Show on Saturday nights when the stand-up star surprises a celebrity while they are sleeping and fires a series of quickfire questions at them. Past bleary-eyed game show 'victims' have included Andy Murray, Robert Rinder and Gino D'Acampo.

And this week it is Chris Ramsey's turn. Ramsey is caught by McIntyre while he is in bed with his wife Rosie. Together they host the award-winning podcast Shagged Married Annoyed which spawned their own TV series, The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show.

Ramsey posted a teaser for this week's McIntyre show on Instagram and finally answered the two questions viewers want to know the answers to.

Hayley Laura asked Ramsey what would happen if the victim had an erection or really bad breath when they were pranked?

To which Ramsey posted a picture of McIntyre and a group of people in Star Wars costumes in his bedroom and replied: "Worst nightmare I’ve ever had. Must have been something I ate…@rosemarinoramsey stitched me up BIG TIME. Woke up at 1am and had to do a bloody game show! Thanks @michaelmcintyresbigshow! Catch it in its full horrifying glory, tomorrow night at 8pm on @bbcone.

And in answer to those specific questions? "quick answers… too scared for wood. I’d had wine and garlic for dinner, I absolutely stunk!"

McIntyre says of the Ramsey appearance: "He is a big UFC fan so naturally we built a cage around his bed where he gets into various chokeholds while I quiz him about his wife, things like what’s Rosie’s maiden name whilst he’s in a hold shouting ‘Crawford!’."

Ramsey said that he will be discussing the prank further on a future edition of Shagged Married Annoyed – available where you get your usual podcasts.
