News: Would I Lie To You Guests Tonight

Rob Brydon hosts the award-winning comedy panel show, with team captains Lee Mack and David Mitchell. Sorting the fact from the fiction this week are guests Johnny Vegas, Alex Jones, Martin Lewis and Anna Maxwell Martin.

This is a real mix of guests so it is hard to say who is going to triumph. Johnny Vegas is likely to offer the most comic bangs per buck – in one story he claims that he uses a paint roller to clean himself in the shower. On the other hand Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis knows a lot about getting value for money so will he be the most comedy value for money himself too?

Johnny Vegas is set to return to Gold in another murder-mystery scripted comedy franchise written by Jason Cook. The brand-new three-part series Murder They Hope follows on from Dial M for Middlesbrough. Sian Gibson and Johnny Vegas will reprise their roles as Gemma and Terry, in a trilogy of new adventures. Would I Lie To You?'s Lee Mack is also due to appear in one of the up and coming episoes.

Anna Maxwell Martin is known to many as a serious actor from series such as Line of Duty (she won the best actress Bafta for Bleak House in 2006), but she has a pretty good comedy CV as well, appearing recently in shows including Motherland where she was the ultimate stressed out mum alongside Diane Morgan, spoof doc The Kemps All True and Sky cop comedy Code 404 alongside Daniel Mays.

And Alex Jones is on too - we presume they mean the co-presenter of The One Show, although there might well be perverse fun to be had if the controversial American with the same name cropped up next to regulars Lee Mack, David Mitchell and Rob Brydon.

Would I Lie To You?, Mondays, 8.30pm, BBC One.
