BAFTA-winning comedian Tom Davis will be a regular host on a new Sky entertainment series alongside football and entertainment star Jamie Redknapp and his dad, Harry Redknapp called Redknapp's Weekend Warm-Up.

The mega-success of the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special demonstrated that when a family sitcom touches a nerve it can get massive audiences and pretty healthy reviews too. So it's no surprise that TV wants to tap into that market on a regular basis.


News: BBC One Commissions Tom Davis Sitcom King Gary

New mainstream sitcom King Gary has been commissioned to run on BBC One following a successful pilot which aired in December 2018. The six-part series, which is produced by Shiny Button Productions, part of EndemolShine UK, starts production this weekend.

The series is created by the BAFTA-winning team behind Murder in Successville and is written by Tom Davis and James De Frond. It stars Davis and is directed by De Frond.

A new sitcom pilot starring Tom Davis has been commissioned as part of BBC One’s Comedy Playhouse series from Shiny Button Productions, part of Endemol Shine Group.

News: Date Revealed For New Series Of Murder In Successville

The date for the new series of improvised format Murder in Successville has been revealed. The first episode of the comedy crime-busting series will be available on BBC Three from 19th April.

The hugely popular series returns with an episode featuring Richard Osman as he joins DI Sleet, played by Tom Davis, on a mission to solve more crimes against the world of celebrity in Successville.
