News: The Chasers Get A Primetime Series

ITV has commissioned a brand new prime time spin-off of its ratings-busting Daytime quiz, The Chase. Beat The Chasers will be hosted by Bradley Walsh and will star all five of the nation's favourite quiz geniuses, The Chasers, including comedian Paul Sinha, also known as the Sinnerman.

Over the past decade, The Chase has become the country's most popular quiz, attracting millions of viewers in Daytime and picking up multiple awards, including a National Television Award Best Quiz 2019.

I interviewed comedian Paul Sinha for The i in September. It was the first full face-to-face interview he had done since revealing in June in his blog that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's. You can read that feature here, but below is a longer Q&A version of our chat. We met in a pub in Wanstead before a headlining gig and he was in a good mood with good reason.

Comedian Paul Sinha has been crowned British Quizzing Champion.

The stand-up comic is a regular quizzer, taking part in tournaments as a team member and also as a solo competitor. He is also know to fans of ITV general knowledge quiz The Chase at the white-suited Sinnerman.

Earlier this year Sinha revealed that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. He had to cancel his Edinburgh Fringe run and said: "I have Parkinson's disease. I will fight this with every breath I have."

Comedian Paul Sinha has revealed that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. The stand-up and star of quiz show The Chase posted the news on Twitter, writing: "I have Parkinson's disease. I will fight this with every breath I have."

Sinha, known to Chase viewers as The Sinnerman, has taken the decision to cancel his forthcoming run at the Edinburgh Fringe of his new show Hazy Little Thing Called Love.
