Comedian Maddy Anholt has died. She was 35 and had a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Anholt was a regular on the comedy circuit and at the Edinburgh Fringe and was a familiar face on television. She had appeared on numerous shows including Sunny D, The Emily Atack Show and the BBC Three sitcom Jerk.
