Lenny Rush is joining the cast of Slow Horses for the new series.
It has not been revealed what character the Bafta-winning Am I Being Unreasonable? star will play but an image of Rush in Slow Horses has been released as part of a first look at series six, starring Sir Gary Oldman. The six-episode sixth season will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until October 21, 2026.
For over five decades, actor, writer and comedian Lenny Henry has been telling stories — on stage, on screen and through a host of characters etched into our collective memory. His new live tour, Still At Large, is part stand-up, part storytelling and part conversation. Tickets are available from Fane.co.uk/Lenny-Henry.
BAFTA winner Lenny Rush, is The Reluctant Vampire in a brand new supernatural comedy from Boffola Pictures for BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Based on the books by Eric Morecambe, written by Rob & Neil Gibbons (Alan Partridge) this coming-of-age sitcom is about a young vampire who finds out he is not in fact a vampire at all, and has to live a double life.
The Bush Theatre is to stage An Evening with Sir Lenny Henry, a fundraiser for the theatre which will take place at the venue on 25 January 2025.
Alongside many arts organisations, The Bush, despite its sold-out performances, two recent West End transfers, and a vital community of supporters, finds itself on a financial precipice due to rising costs, and real-terms shrinking funding.
Sir Lenny Henry is to delve into the careers and inspirations of his comedy heroes in a new four-part series co-produced by Red Sauce (part of Zinc Media Group) and Douglas Road Productions (a Banijay UK company).
