The first trailer has been released to promote Trying, the new British comedy series about a thirtysomething couple and their friends learning to grow up, settle down and find someone to love, written by Andy Wolton and directed by Jim O'Hanlon (“Catastrophe,” “The Punisher,” ”A Touch Of Cloth”).
Rafe Spall and Esther Smith are to co-star in a new comedy for Apple.
Apple TV+ will air the eight-part series globally on May 1. It is the first original series from the UK to debut on Apple TV+.
Spall was recently seen in the latest adaptation of War of the Worlds and Smith is best known as one of the stars of Cuckoo.
They play a young couple trying to have a baby. "All Jason and Nikki want is a baby. But it’s the one thing they just can’t have."
