Beat The Frog
Dan Tiernan has been crowned the winner at this (Covid) year’s Beat the Frog World Series. The runner up was Charlie Lewis and a special panel prize award went to Adam Flood.
Dan was one of the first students of the Frog’s stand up courses four years ago and has dabbled in DJing and being a magician; he’s also worked as a dinner man.
The finalists have been announced for Beat The Frog. the 16th annual World Series competition final at the Frog and Bucket on Monday 4th November. Nine acts have been gathered together having won through from the four heats every Monday throughout October.
The Frog and Bucket Comedy Club in Manchester has announced that Aussie comic Anna Spark has won this year’s World Series competition final. Her audaciously funny, close-to-the-bone material was a hit with the voting audience and comedy industry folk alike.
The finalists in the 15th Beat the Frog World Series have been revealed.
The evening will showcase the best of all the new acts who have come through its doors at the Beat the Frog Monday night amateur show across the past year. The final takes place on Monday, 29thOctober at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester and the line-up is as follows.
The Frog and Bucket's annual search for a new comedy star concludes on Monday November 6 with the final of the Beat The Frog World Series competition at the Manchester club.
