Following the success of their Fringe Search Party this summer, Gilded Balloon are excited to announce Christmas Search Party, an interactive treasure hunt for all the family that’s guaranteed to have more seasonal surprises than Santa’s sack and leave you feeling as satisfied as double helpings of Christmas pud.

It's been a tricky year for everyone, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is keen to spread even more cheer and sparkle than usual. But with so much to do, he needs a helper. And who better than his wee cousin Rabbie the Tartan-Nosed Reindeer. He'd be perfect for the job. 

But where is he? Shy Rab isn’t as outgoing as his famous cousin and is rarely seen in public. 

Through a Christmas-themed trail of puzzles, games and clues with visits to iconic Edinburgh landmarks along the way, can you help Rudolph on his quest to find Rabbie?

Just follow the clues and the snowy hoofprints! 

Christmas Search Party is a brand-new live interactive experience developed by Gilded Balloon and Padlox Escape Rooms that is suitable for all the family. It’s a seasonally themed trail of puzzles, games and clues and there will be an online scoreboard which will record each team’s finishing time.

We piloted this project during this year's Fringe in August and the feedback was fantastic. With new restrictions coming into force over winter, we hope Search Party will bring families and friends together safely to enjoy a fun Christmas trail on the streets of Edinburgh and enjoy a bit of Christmas magic."
