Update: these shows have now been cancelled. This was before the new regulations on gatherings were announced so it is not connected to that. We have asked for the reason but have not yet received a reply.
Show And Tell have announced another series of socially distanced outdoor comedy gigs, with their latest live stand-up offering taking place at Selhurst Park’s Fanzone, including performances from Al Murray, Nina Conti, Milton Jones and Bridget Christie, plus a special outdoor screening of Alistair Green: Volume One.
Following on from their sold-out shows at Brighton Open Air Theatre, award-winning production company Show And Tell announce a further run of Stand-up Under The Stars at London’s Selhurst Park Fanzone. The shows will run from September 8th – 10th, and will include performances from Al Murray, Nina Conti, Milton Jones, Bridget Christie, Ed Gamble and more, plus there will be a special outdoor screening of Alistair Green’s cinematic masterpiece, Volume One.
Live at the Apollo star Nina Conti said "I’m so excited to do a gig again. This is the first one I’ve done - my act relies on audience interaction and I’ve missed people so much! I’ve had the cables extended on my vent masks and they are sanitised to within an inch of their lives. I think I’m ready and safe and I can’t wait!"
Tickets will be £25, with £1 from every ticket sold going to Angel Comedy and The Bill Murray, the UK’s first community comedy club, to support their existence and try to ensure their survival through these uncertain times.
Tom Searle, founder of Show And Tell, said, ‘We were overwhelmed by the response to Stand-up Under The Stars at Brighton Open Air Theatre, and are pleased to be able to offer more brilliant line-ups at Selhurst Park. We are also delighted to be able to support our friends at Angel Comedy and The Bill Murray, and we hope that they are able to survive the challenges of the Coronavirus.’
