Tom Lucy has been crowned Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year at Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival tonight.

The teenager from Guildford wins £1000 and in winning the final follows in the footsteps of the likes of Rhod Gilbert, Josh Widdicombe and Romesh Ranganathan.

Second place went to George Lewis and third place went to Rob Mullholland. The eight finalists were competing at the Y Theatre. For a full line-up click here.
