The line-up has been announced for this year's final of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.

The competition takes place on February 20 at the Y Theatre as part of Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival. 

Past winners include Josh Widdicombe, Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Seann Walsh and Rhod Gilbert.

The eight acts competing for this year's title are as follows:
