Comedy character LJ Da Funk has been crowned New Comedian of the Year at the Leicester Square Theatre.

Mr Funk is the creation of comedian Zak Splijt, who was a Laughing Horse New Act of the Year finalist in 2013.

Second place went to Bilal Zafar and third place went to Yuriko Katoni. For a list of all the finalists click here.

Splijt wins £1000. Second prize is £500 and third prize is £250.
