Following multiple Fringe runs and a UK tour, MP-turned-comedian Mhairi Black returns with some new stories and fresh material. Come along for a laid-back look at the last few years in Mhairi’s life.

In her new show ‘Difficult Second Album’, Mhairi will discuss life outside of politics, neurodiversity, joblessness and trying to get fit at the gym. In true ADHD fashion, it's all over the place.

Spending most of her adult life as an elected member of Parliament, Mhairi has grown up in front of the UK’s media, as well as her constituents, providing her with a highly unique perspective on the issues facing the country and its politicians. The Paisley politician became the youngest person ever elected to the House of Commons at the age of 20 in 2015 and went on to make waves both in the SNP and on the UK’s wider political scene.

In her debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show and subsequent tour, Mhairi showcased her trademark West Coast dark sense of humour to reflect on her time in Westminster and presented a first-hand, ruthlessly honest look at 21st century politics.

This year, Mhairi returns to the stage with a new show where she’ll take audiences on a trip through the last year in her life, including everything that has happened since her triumphant comedy debut. For those who loved her last show, those who regret missing it and everyone in between, this show is a must-see!
