Cracked, the US comedy magazinem, now runs a comedy club on YouTube, filming in New York and Los Angeles and spotlighting comedians in the USA. British comedian Stuart Laws has made his debut on the Cracked Comedy Club with a stand up set he taped at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival this year.
In the ten minute set Stuart tackles cheating, lying, friendships and how he gets into swimming pools before an audience member jumps in to interrupt his extremely vulnerable reveal that he’s colour blind.
Stuart has this to say about it: “It’s very exciting to be part of the Cracked Comedy Club line up, I now work a lot in New York and it’s exciting to perform in the USA and become part of the scene out there. Cracked has such a brilliant channel of comedians so I feel very honoured to represent the UK there. I hope Americans know what Wagamama is.”
Stuart now splits his time between New York and London and recently opened for Ed Gamble on his US tour and for Chloe Radcliffe on the road, he also made his headlining debut, performing at Last Best Comedy in Bozeman, Montana and has lined up a series of other road dates across the states for the autumn. Or fall as he now calls it. His new full special will debut later this year, for more info on that, future shows and Fringe info he puts it out first on his mailing list, sign up here: https://tr.ee/brU0eoMhaE
