Scottish stand-up star Connor Burns' show at the King's Theatre in Glasgow is to be live-streamed on major new platform Lounges.tv. His 9pm, Saturday, March 14th performance of his hit show GALLUS will be streamed globally on the new pay-per-view platform, which has powerful entertainment industry figures including Simon Cowell and Nile Rodgers on board.
This is the first major 'at scale' comedy show on the platform although they have previously streamed some comedy compilations.
Burns is one of the fastest rising Scottish comedy stars. He has already added extra shows to his Edinburgh Fringe run of his next show FLOW, with dates at the Just The Tonic Nucleus and big gigs at the Edinburgh Playhouse. Details here. This Glasgow show being live streamed is one of five Burns shows at the King's Theatre as part of the Glasgow Comedy Festival, which are all already sold out.
Access to watch the show live globally on March 14 is here.
