Following a sold-out Fringe run, Molly McGuinness is taking her debut show on the road with her first ever UK tour! Nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, ‘SLOB’ is heading to London, Leicester, Bristol, Brighton, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester in 2026.
For Molly, life didn’t get any better than a good buffet and belting out Meatloaf down the local pub. But when the Salford-born libertine contracted Lemierre’s Disease, a rare and life-threatening illness, Molly was placed into a medically induced coma. Suddenly, Molly was forced to “slob out” whether she liked it or not.
Packed with unflinching honesty and scalpel-sharp wit, ‘SLOB’ tackles everything from aging to hospital food and the extreme weirdness of starting a new relationship in the Intensive Care Unit. Along the way, Molly also discovers she might just have more in common with Elizabeth Taylor than she ever imagined…
Molly says, “I’m so excited to be heading out on my first ever tour. I’m visiting some of my favourite UK cities and I’ll also be visiting our nation’s capital. Hopefully, I’ll meet some fellow slobs!”
