There's a good comedy turn out for Michael McIntyre's The Wheel this week. Among the guests are Fatiha El-Ghorri, Adam Hills and Lillte Britain star-turned-children's author David Walliams. The other celebrity experts are Richard Madeley, Rachel Riley, Ellie Simmonds, Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews. Vogue Williams also has a comedy connection, co-hosting the chart-topping podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me with powerhouse stand-up Joanne McNally.
Fatiha El-Ghorri has become a familiar figure on British TV in recent years. She was one of the breakout stars of Taskmaster's series 19. She has also been on Live at the Apollo and you might have seen her as one of the judges on the BBC New Comedy Awards final a couple of weeks ago.
She was also one of the sitters in the most recent series of Portrait Artist Of The Year alongside comedy favourites Jack Dee, Jack Rooke. And of course, like most comedians, she has had a stint on Richard Osman's House of Games - she appeared alongside fellow The Wheel expert Spencer Matthews. She acts as well, having appeared in the recent series of the Danny Dyer Sky comedy Mr Bigstuff.
Australian comedian Adam Hills is another familiar TV comedy face, though these days his main claim to fame is as one of the hosts of the long-running The Last Leg. Hills only has one foot but that has not stopped him from being a skilful tennis player and more recently he has been increasingly involved in the world of rugby. He was named as an Ambassador for the Rugby League World Cup in 2021. In 2022 he represented Australia in the Physical Disability Rugby League [PDRL] World Cup in England, living out a boyhood dream
The Last Leg is currently on C4 on Friday nights at 10pm.
