Chris McCausland's ITV1 morning chat show will not be coming back.

The Strictly winner has stepped away from the weekend programmme, his publicist says, to look at other opportunities.

Since winning Strictly there has been no shortage of offers for McCausland. He has become a regular fixture on television, popping up on panel shows, chat shows and other shows including Celebrity Gogglebox. This week it was announced that he will be fronting a BBC documentary about technology.

He is also currently writing his autobiography.

All of this and there is also the small matter of his tour, Yonks! which was initially announced before Strictly but which now keeps getting extended due to phenomenal demand for tickets. In many venues he is doing at least two shows a day to meet demand and the tour currently runs until May 2026. Dates here.
