News: London Run For Julian Clary

julian clary tour 2014

Following his appearance at the Royal Free Rocks With Laughter benefit on Sunday, Julian Clary has announced a London run of his new show, Canned Clary, for 2014 promising a mix of music, filth and star guests.

Clary promises a "condensed and completely organic, intimate, queerish show" where the public will be partying up close and personal with the man himself for eight nights at The St James Studio, every Thursday and Friday in March.

Not content with tormenting the public with his sharp-witted jibes, for each show Julian will be joined by the most entertaining names on his celebrity speed dial, who will be popping in for a cosy chat and a thorough grilling. Audiences can expect intimate revelations, gorgeous costumes and a raffle: "A meeting of the W.I. in a sex dungeon kindathang". According to Clary this is "not suitable for children, OAPs or anyone called Nigel."

Since winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2012 Clary’s career has had a resurgence. He completed a hit UK tour of Position Vacant: Apply Within, lent his sharp tongue to the judging panel on Your Face Sounds Familiar, shared an insight into his 30-year career in showbiz on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and terrorised the audience at The Jonathan Ross Show with a cattle prod. He has also appeared on Would I Lie to You?, Q.I. and Live at the Apollo as well as Radio 4’s Just a Minute. His third book, Briefs Encountered, was published in March 2013.
