News: More Rob & Romesh Vs And A League Of Their Own

After two hugely successful series of Rob & Romesh Vs, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan are returning to dip their toe into the unknown once again for Sky One. Their close friendship will be put to the test this series as Rob tries to convince Romesh to share his love for golf and they delve into the world of tennis, drag performing and art.

Along the way, they will once again be joined by experts to guide and introduce them to their vocations and the boys will share their unique views with the likes of Alan Carr, Andy Murray, Ian Poulter,  Justin Rose and Michelle Visage.

Elsewhere across the UK, Jamie Redknapp, Freddie Flintoff and Romesh Ranganathan are also on the road filming a brand-new series of the road trip franchise, A League of Their Own Road trip: Loch Ness to London.

Throughout the road trip the trio will be joined by stars from the world of sport and entertainment and there will be a very special guest appearance from Jack Whitehall.  Challenges include outdoor survival skills with the SAS, gourmet cooking with a top celebrity chef and traditional Scottish Highland Games hosted by one of the UK’s most celebrated sports stars.

Jamie, Freddie and Romesh have also been getting into the Christmas spirit in recent weeks as they filmed the A League of Their Own: Christmas Party 2020 at Englefield House in Berkshire. This festive edition of the show, coming to Sky One and NOW TV on the 17th December, will see them take a look back at old clips from the show and be joined by James Corden who’ll be dialling in from across the pond. Viewers are also in for a real treat as ‘H’ from Steps guides the guys through putting together a truly unique version of Feliz Navidad.

Phil Edgar-Jones, Director, Sky Arts and Head of Entertainment said: “If ever we needed a laugh, it’s right now, and as 2020 fades away we are delighted that the brilliant teams who make ALOTO Road trip and Rob & Romesh vs are able to safely traverse the length and breadth of Britain to bring us these comedy gems. 2020 can do one, bring on 2021.”

Murray Boland, Executive Producer for CPL said: “There’s a fantastic family of talent on these shows both in front of and behind the screens.  We laugh as much making them as we hope audiences will watching them.”

The safety and well-being of cast, production teams and all those involved with the series is the top priority, while production company CPL and Sky are working to keep the shows as close to the original format as possible within current government guidelines.

All of these shows will be available to watch on Sky One and NOW TV.
