News: Comedians Make Britain's Got Talent Semi-Final

News: Myra Dubois Appears On Britain's Got Talent Semi-Final

The semi-finalists have been announced for this year's Britain's Got Talent.

200 acts were whittled down to 40, who will now appear in heats hoping to make it to the final.

Among those that have got through are a number of comedy acts.

Circuit regulars Myra Dubois (pictured) and guitar-juggling stand-up Steve Royle have gone through.

Nabil Abdulrashid, who got the Golden Buzzer from Alesha Dixon, is through to the next round.

Baptist minister and stand-up Allen Finnegan will also stay in the competition.

And comedy magician Hakan Berg and Jon Courtenay also made it through.

Improvisation group The Noise Next Door issued a statement saying that because the next rounds are filmed without an audience which they rely on heavily they decided to take themselves out of the running.

The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals start on Saturday, September 5 at 8pm, ITV1
