News: New Track Very Stable Genius From Harry Shearer's Donald Trump Song Cycle

Video: Harry Shearer's New Video Spoofs Donald Trump

Here is the third track from Harry Shearer's song cycle about Donald Trump.

Very Stable Genius is a power ballad which has Shearer as Trump vaunting his own intellectual prowess combined with his calm and balanced disposition.

Following the old school R&B anthem Son In Law and COVID-180, the disco/plaintive folk number celebrating Trump’s consistent inconsistency in his approach to the pandemic, Very Stable Genius is a low power power ballad, in which the Leader of the Free World vaunts his self-proclaimed intellectual prowess combined with his calm and balanced disposition.

Comparing himself to the likes of Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, Shearer’s Trump proves that when it comes to talking geniuses who are also very stable he’s “the one”.

Harry Shearer says of Very Stable Genius: “When a person refers to himself with that phrase once, it’s newsworthy.  When he does it repeatedly, it’s songworthy.

Very Stable Genius features The Simpsons and This is Spinal Tap star on vocals as Donald Trump.  He is joined by CJ Vanston on backing vocals, Marc Bonilla on guitar, Toss Panos on drums, with CJ Vanston on piano, synths and all other instruments. Music and Lyrics are by Harry Shearer.

Harry Shearer has vocally portrayed every US president of his lifetime.  Donald Trump is the third he has portrayed physically, having previously played Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan on screen.
