The people behind the Greater Manchester Fringe, Camden Fringe, World Fringe and Eventotron are looking into the possibility of staging comedy gigs in people's gardens.

They have set up a page, entitled Garden Fringe, where people can register an interest.

The ambition is that this could be a worldwide, socially distanced fringe festival in private gardens everywhere with all ticket income going directly to the artists.

The organisers will help to match up gardens and shows, provide some marketing support and set up a way to sell tickets.
