News: Noise Next Door And Mike Newall To Appear On Britain's Got Talent

News: Comedy Triumphs On Britain's Got Talent

Two comedy acts who are well known on the circuit are due to appear on Britain's Got Talent tonight. Mancunian comic Mike Newall and impro group The Noise Next Door will attempt to win over the judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

The Noise Next Door (pictured) have appeared numerous times at the Edinburgh Fringe and have a reputation as one of the fastest-thinking improvisation groups in the UK.

They have also appeared on TV and radio, but can they work their magic in front of the judges?

Newall has been a stand-up since 2003 and has been steadily building a reputation as a rising star of the north-western comedy scene. The show seems to like talent from the north-west this year – Liverpool baptist minister and stand-up Alan Finnegan has already got through as has Steve Royle.
