News: Myra Dubois Appears On Britain's Got Talent Semi-Final

Comedian Myra Dubois is to appear on Britain's Got Talent.

Character comic Dubois appears on the sixth episode which airs at 8pm on ITV1 on Saturday, May 16.

Dubois attempts to impress judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden with some stand-up and a distinctive rendition of the Annie Lennox hit Why.

The full line-up of the show is below. It also apparently includes a guinea pig from Nottingham who does stand-up...

Myra has sold out solo shows at venues including Charing Cross Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre, the Clapham Grand, Underbelly Southbank Festival and the legendary Royal Vauxhall Tavern. The comic creation of Gareth Joyner is set to appear in the film adaptation of the West End smash “Everybody's Talking About Jamie” starring Richard E Grant and Sharon Horgan. TV credits include BBC1’s The John Bishop Show and C5’s Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.

Dubois is the latest comedian to appear on this year's series. Liverpool baptist minister and stand-up Alan Finnegan got through alongside Steve Royle and Nabil Abdulrashid. Clare Harrison McCartney got four nos from the judges.

Britain's Got Talent Saturday, May 16. 

Claire-Marie and Jason, aged 45 and 47 from Kent. Claire-Marie and Jason are a danger act, Jason throw knives at Claire-Marie, and then at David and Simon. 

The Lozhka Brothers are spoon players from Russia.  

Emmanuel Vass, is 30 from Manchester. Emmanuel will perform a classical and modern piece on the piano whilst stripping down to a pair of Union Jack pants. 

Dawn Xiana Moon, aged 38 from Chicago. Dawn performs a belly dancing routine dressed as a wookie from Star Wars to ‘Toxic’ by Britney Spears. 

Krysztof Werkowicz, is a 60 year old busker. Krysztof plays a medley of songs from a tuba that blows out fire balls. 

Jack Beavis, aged 25 from Bridgend, Wales. Jack is a comedy magician, who performs a series of tricks for the judges.  

Patch, 5 year old guinea pig from Nottingham. Patch is a stand-up comedian. 

Hakan Berg is a comedy magician, aged 43 from Stockholm. He performs a number of tricks, involving birds, a segway and a dry ice machine.  

Immortals, aged 17-24 from Barcelona. Immortals perform a powerful urban dance routine dressed as modern-day vampires. 

Myra Dubois, aged 32 from London. Myra is a character comedian who performs a stand-up routine before singing ‘Why’ by Annie Lennox.   

Crissy Lee, aged 76 from Colchester. Crissy plays the drums and plays a medley of rock classics for the judges.   

Alexey Gusev, aged 31 from Glasgow. Alexey sings 'Largo al factotum' from Il Barbiere di Siviglia opera by Rossini.  

VA Kids, aged between 7 and 19 from Hartlepool. The dance troop perform an Alice in Wonderland themed routine.  

Sirine Jahangir, aged 14 from London. Sirine sings and plays the piano to ‘Salvation’ by Gabrielle Aplin.
