Jonny Pelham, Jessica Fostekew and Catherine Cohen (all pictured) are all double nominees in this year’s Chortle Awards.
 
Nominees range from star names such as Bob Mortimer, Greg Davies, Katherine Ryan, Romesh Ranganathan, Tom Allen, Ben Elton and Frank Skinner to the best circuit and Edinburgh Fringe names
 
Pelham and Fostekew were nominated for both best breakthrough act and best show – while Cohen racked up nominations for best show and in the music and variety category.
 
Others up for best show are Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Jordan Brookes and double-act Max & Ivan for their offering, Commitment
 
Shortlists were drawn up by a panel of independent comedy industry figures, and the winners will be decided by an online vote  at www.chortle.co.uk Polls close at 9am on March 9
