Channel 4 is celebrating its brand-new original online comedy strand, with an exclusive live-stream event on Channel 4 Comedy’s YouTube channel on Tuesday 26th November from 8pm.

This unique evening of comedy, titled The Paddock, will highlight new content produced by creative partner Blink Industries. Blink Industries have brought together some of the UK's most exciting, innovative and experimental comedy talent performing across a mix of stand-up, sketch, character, musical comedy and everything in-between.

Transporting you to a late-night comedy gig, the streamed event brings together the energy, pace and excitement that you’d usually experience in a crowded comedy club. But the best part is, you don’t have to leave your sofa – especially on a cold winter evening!

Performers include Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Jordan Brookes (pictured) and Nominees Mat Ewins, The Delightful Sausage, and Olga Koch (pictured). Sketch group Britney (a comedy duo, featuring Charly Clive from Channel 4’s Pure) and BBC's The Pale Horse, Ellen Robertson; star of Harry Hill's Clubnite Phil Dunning; host of the popular podcast, What Women Want, Amy Annette; stars of Channel 4's Flowers, Anna O'Grady and Helen Cripps; and Scottish BAFTA New Talent Award Nominee Katia Kvinge.

This event is just one of five strands that form part of new Original Comedy on Channel 4 commissioned specifically for social media channels.

The other creative partners include Very Nice TV, The North East Comedy Hot House, Merman and Mermade, and Mother’s Best Child. Chosen from a mix of regions across the country, each creative partner was tasked to deliver punchy distinctive comedy, featuring new and diverse talent, for online audiences.  Their content is also being showcased across Channel 4’s social media portfolio, including Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, this winter.

The live streamed event takes place on Tuesday 26th November at 8pm at https://www.youtube.com/user/Comedyon4.
