Gallery: Comics Onstage And Backstage Exhibition Opens

Photographer Steve Best has taken pictures of some of the finest comedians of recent years. He has a new exhibiton in London downstairs at the Observatory Photography Gallery in Russell Square: https://theobservatory.org

The exhibition is free and on for the next six months and you can buy limited edition prints of your favourites. There will also be an official opening on December 6.
 
A selection of pictures are featured here. The exhibition also features Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand/Robin Ince, Dave Johns/Michael Redmond/Johnny Vegas, Mae Martin, Harry Hill, Jack Whitehall, Barry Cryer, Alan Davies, Mike Gunn, Michael Fabbri/Joe Rowntree, Stewart Lee, David Baddiel, Count Arthur, Rich Hall/josh Widdicombe. Some are in rotation so may not be there all the time.

Backstage is always so messy. I’m part of the show here. My guitar is on the counter and my shoes are on the floor. I love how Jon’s juggling ball blocks the bell of the trumpet as it comes down, or goes up.
