News: Man In The White Suit Starring Stephen Mangan To Close Early

Theatre Review: The Man In The White Suit, Wyndham's Theatre

West End production The Man In The White Suit is to close early.

The producers issued a statement about the decision: "Despite winning praise from audiences, sales for the show have not proved strong enough and producers have taken the difficult decision to end the run early."

The show, starring Stephen Mangan in the role made famous by Alec Guinness in the Ealing Comedy film of the same name, was due to close on January 11, 2020. It will now close on December 7, 2019.

The comedy musical, directed and adapted by Sean Foley, also stars Sue Johnston and Kara Tointon and is currently running at the Wyndham's Theatre.

The BTJ review concluded: "Worth seeing if you fancy an easy, undemanding chuckle. Just maybe not worth getting suited and booted for."

If you have tickets for a date after the closure you are advised to contact the point of sale.
