News: Filming Wraps On Clunkerdunk Series

Filming has now finished on the first series of The Mind Of Herbert Clunkerdunk, created by and starring comedian Spencer Jones.

BBC Two has ordered a full series following the success of the Bafta-nominated short form pilot which aired on BBC Two last year as part of the critically-acclaimed Comedy Shorts series.

The four-part series which is being produced by Tiger Aspect (part of Endemol Shine UK), will see multi award-winning comedian Spencer Jones (Mister Winner, Upstart Crow) return to the screen as his alter ego, Herbert Clunkerdunk.

The series also stars Dominic Coleman (Upstart Crow) as the irrepressible, unpredictable Jonny Wallop and Lucy Pearman (Mister Winner) as Bobby Kindle, Herbert's wife, who forever supports him as he tries to juggle real-world responsibilities: work, family, finances, and being a good dad.

Jones posted the news that filming was finished and added the picture here, writing: "Today we finished filming Clunkerdunk. Thank you to everyone who worked on it. I’m a bit emotional because you were all excellent and I am a very lucky man to have had you all in my corner. Every single one of you xxxx."

Transmission details have not been revealed yet.
