News: Good Omens Released On Vinyl

Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s comic fantasy Good Omens comes to vinyl for the first time ahead of this Friday’s launch of the brand new TV adaption on Amazon Prime Video. The programme will also air on BBC Two (date TBC) and will be available for pre-order on DVD, Blu-ray and limited edition Steelbook from Friday.

Following the very successful Doctor Who and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy releases on vinyl, Demon Music Group presents Good Omens, adapted and co-directed for BBC Radio 4 by the award- winning Dirk Maggs (Stardust, The X-Files, Batman) and based on the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The four discs of heavyweight vinyl will be released on 12th July 2019 and are available for pre-order now for the RRP £99.99.

Originally broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 2014, the radio play stars Mark Heap as Aziraphale and Peter Serafinowicz as Crowley, with Josie Lawrence as Agnes Nutter (who reprises her role in the Amazon Prime Video TV adaptation alongside Michael Sheen’s Aziraphale and David Tennant’s Crowley), Colin Morgan as Newton Pulsifier and Charlotte Ritchie as Anathema Device, the cast also includes Phil Davis, Harry Lloyd, Paterson Joseph, Rachael Stirling, Jim Norton, Nicholas Briggs, Neil Maskell, Steve Toussaint, Simon Jones, Julia Deakin, Mitch Benn, Louise Brealey, Mark Benton and many more including cameo appearances by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett themselves.

The four 180g heavyweight coloured pieces of vinyl including a laser-etched Side B are presented in illustrated wallets inside a rigid, bound 16 page book, with exclusive sleeve notes written by Neil Gaiman and Dirk Maggs.
