News: Jonathan Pie Announces Fake News Tour

Spoof news reporter Jonathan Pie is heading out on the road in 2019 with a new show.

The Fake News Tour will start at the York Barbican on October 4 and currently ends at Plymouth Pavilions on December 1.

If no news is good news, then good news is fake news. In The Fake News Tour, Pie returns once more to berate the people in power - and the journalists apparently holding them to account.

The brand-new UK tour will visit major venues across the country, including a return to London’s Eventim Apollo on 1st November 2019, following two sell-out shows at the prestigious venue in March 2018.

Jonathan Pie is the creation of Tom Walker and has been described by Rory Bremner as ‘the most important satirical creation since Partridge’ and ‘brilliant, brave, raw and analytical without forgetting to be funny’ by Ricky Gervais. With over 1.2 millionFacebook followers, his videos regularly achieve millions of views going viral internationally. His response to the election of Donald Trump was viewed more than 150 million times worldwide. A recent clip exploring identity politics was viewed over 8m times on Facebook alone.

Pre-sale is now and general sale is on Friday November 30 at 10am. Ticket link here. Dates here.
