The transmission date has been confirmed for the all-star comedy Death On The Tyne.

The one-off murder mystery, written by Jason Cook (who also appears in it) will premiere on Saturday 15th December at 9.20pm on Christmas Gold*

The cast includes Johnny Vegas, Sian Gibson, Sue Johnston, James Fleet, Doon Mackichan, Tony Gardner and Felicity Montagu.

*Though we expect it'll get a repeat.
