Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, the co-creators of the internationally acclaimed anthology series Black Mirror are to appear live onstage discussing their work.

Brooker and Jones created Black Mirror in 2011 for C4 as a sci-fi exploration of the convergence between humanity and technology. Each episode of this addictive anthology series explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.

The show became an international hit, and more series have since followed, with the fifth is on its way exclusively on Netflix. Stephen King has described it as “terrifying, funny, intelligent. It’s like the Twilight Zone, only rated R,” and it has attracted acting and directorial talent from around the globe, including Jodie Foster, Jon Hamm, Bryce Dallas Howard and Joe Wright.

Brooker’s new book, Inside Black Mirror, co-written with Annabel Jones and novelist Jason Arnopp, is the first official companion book to the programme, and offers an illustrated oral history and exclusive insight into its creation.

At this one-off event Brooker and Jones will discuss the inspirations behind one of the biggest and most original cult television programmes to emerge from the UK.
