This year's Mackenzie Taylor Memorial Cup, the golf tournament that pits comedians against industry professionals, has been won by the comedians' team.
The latest annual grudge match took place on Tuesday, August 21, at Duddingston Golf Club, in the shadow of Arthur’s Seat.
The players who took part were promoter/manager Mick Perrin, promoter/organiser Richard Bucknall, Beyond The Joke editor Bruce Dessau and comedians Jimmy McGhee, Dominic Holland, Alistair Barrie and Carl Donnelly.
The winning team was the comedians' team, with the overall crown going to Jimmy McGhie.
Mackenzie Taylor was a comedian who was a regular at The Edinburgh Fringe. He tragically took his own life in November 2010. This tournament is a way of highlighting mental health issues amongst performers and the wider world.
