News: London Podcast Festival To Return

The London Podcast Festival is to return for its third annual festival at King's Place in north London. This year's celebration of all things pod-related will be happening from September 13 - 16. Among the highlights are Cariad Lloyd fronting an edition of the award-winning podcast Griefcast and Danielle Ward and Michael Legge's Do The Right Thing. Americans Chris Gethard and Paul F Tompkins will also be coming over for the event.

As well as new faces, this year's programme features numerous favourites from the previous two editions including Monkey Tennis, Spontaneanation, Plumbing the Death Star and The Allusionist.

The main festival programme will be complimented by the Podcast Maker Weekend, a series of workshops and discussions targeted at podcasters. Unedited will be leading a panel and audience discussion about diversity in the podcasting industry, the Earwolf team will be creating two extra special comedy panels that you won’t want to miss, and Starlee Kine will be in conversation with Caroline Crampton.

Tickets for some shows are on sale now here. The full line-up will be announced soon.
