This Country, Derry Girls, Peter Kay’s Car Share, Inside No.9, People Just Do Nothing and GameFace are the nominees for Best Comedy Series in the Edinburgh TV Festival Awards

This Country creators/stars Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper are also nominated for Best Breakthrough alongside Jack Rowan, Rodney P, Daniel Lawrence Taylor, Rachel Parris and Letitia Wright.

Taskmaster and Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule are nominted for Best Entertainment Series alongside Celebs Go Dating, Love Island, The Graham Norton Show and Gogglebox. 

The winners will be announced on August 23 at a ceremony hosted by Frank Skinner.
