News: Cunk On Bookshelves

Classic Interview: Diane Morgan, star of Cunk On Britain, Mandy, Motherland

Following a successful series on BBC2 Philomena Cunk is now going to make her debut in book form.

Cunk on Everything: The Philomena Cunk Encyclopedia will be published by Two Roads on November 1.

According to the Bookseller, Diane Morgan, who plays Cunk, will co-write the book with the character's creator Charlie Brooker and the team behind the Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups series, Joel Morris and Jason Hazeley, who have both written for Cunk.

Two Roads editorial director Kate Hewson, who acquired world rights from Jo Unwin at Jo Unwin Literary Agency, called Cunk "a voice of reason and sanity, who cuts through all the superfluous ‘facts’ and ‘information’ to get to the heart of these complex topics".

Cunk commented: "This book is great because it covers everything in existence apart from the 95% of stuff not worth bothering with."

There will also be an audiobook version.
