The Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian Of The Year Grand Final took place on Friday night.
Nine handpicked performers competed for the prestigious trophy.
There are no heats to this competition, the finalists were selected from the best of the newer acts to have appeared at Piccadilly Comedy Club in 2017. The compere was Andy Stedman.
The standard was higher than ever and the result was closer than ever.
And the winner was Cally Beaton.
Runner-up was Nelson Gombakomba and third was Benji Waterstones.
