News: Cast And Storylines Revealed For New Series Of Black Mirror

Update: The new series will be available from Netflix from Friday 29 December.

The episode titles and cast have been revealed for the fourth series of Black Mirror, which will air on Netflix later this year. The line-up features a mix of British and American actors including Maxine Peake and Andrea Riseborough. Film star Jodie Foster will direct an episode entitled Arkangel.

According to a report in Variety each episode explores the theme of “collective unease with the modern world.” Charlie Brooker, who created the series, has written every episode. He is also currently overseeing a Black Mirror book.

  • “Arkangel” stars Rosemarie Dewitt, Brenna Harding and Owen Teague. It is directed by Jodie Foster.
  • “Black Museum” stars Douglas Hodge, Letitia Wright and Babs Olusanmokun. It is directed by Colm McCarthy.
  • “Crocodile” stars Andrea Riseborough, Andrew Gower and Kiran Sonia Sawar. It is directed by John Hillcoat.
  • “Hang the DJ” stars Georgina Campbell, Joe Cole and George Blagden. It is directed by Tim Van Patten.
  • “Metalhead” stars Maxine Peake, Jake Davies and Clint Dyer. It is directed by David Slade.
  • “USS Callister” stars Jesse PlemonsCristin MiliotiJimmi Simpson and Michaela Coel. It is directed by Toby Haynes. Brooker has co-written this episode with William Bridges.
