Comedian Kathy Griffin has held a press conference to talk about the recent controversy over the picture in which she was holding up a bloody, severed head of US President Donald Trump.
She tearfully apologised for posing for the picture suggesting that it had finished her career. “I don’t think I will have a career after this. I’m going to be honest, (Trump) broke me,” said Griffin.
Following the outcry Griffin has been dropped from co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve coverage. She said that she had received death threats following the incident.
But she added that she was going to continue making jokes about the President. "I'm not afraid of Donald Trump, he's a bully."
