Comedian Spencer Jones has filmed a new sitcom pilot for BBC1.

He plays the lead role in Mr Winner. Leslie Winner is a hapless but amiable chap prone to accidents. In the pilot episode he attempts to propose to his girlfriend.    

There is a screening of the pre-recorded episode coming up so that the makers can record genuine laughter. The screening will be at the BBC Radio Theatre in London on Tuesday, May 16. Apply for tickets here.

Admission to this screening is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make of a full house more tickets are issued than there are places. Please arrive early.
