News: Free Tickets For Filming Of Porridge Reboot

The new version of prison sitcom Porridge, starring Kevin Bishop, starts filming in February.

This follows a successful one-off pilot last autumn as part of the BBC's sitcom season. In the new version Bishop plays Fletch - the grandson of Ronnie Barker's original Norman Stanley Fletcher. Also appearing are Mark Bonnar, recently seen in C4's Catastrophe and in straight roles in Unforgotten and Line of Duty, as Officer Meekie. Ralph Ineson, best known as Finchy in The Office, will play a prison bully and Dave Hill from EastEnders will be another convict.

The show is to be filmed at Media City in Salford on Thursdays in February and March. To see the dates and to apply for free tickets click here.
