Preview: Go Faster Stripe II - With Tom Parry, Phil Nichol & more

Cardiff-based indie comedy DVD label Go Faster Stripe heads east along the M4 this weekend to occupying The Bloomsbury Studio for two nights, bringing six shows with them.

The Go Faster Festival is not only giving audiences a chance to see an impressive line-up including Phil Nichol, Seymour Mace and Tom Parry, they’re also recording all six of their shows for future DVD release.

Friday features David Trent and his unique brand of high octane audiovisual tech-comedy. Then stick around to catch Scottish Comedian of the Year winner, Scott Agnew as he tells tales of misadventure from this year's Edinburgh Fringe show I've Snapped My Banjo String, Let's Just Talk.

On Saturday there are TWO chances to see Edinburgh award winning comedian Phil Nichol (pictured, by Idil Sukan) as he celebrates twenty years of comedy with the shows I Don't Want to Talk About It and this year's Edinburgh Fringe offering, Twenty.

Also on the 10th is Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Seymour Mace and double Edinburgh award nominee Tom Parry who will be recording his 2015 Edinburgh Fringe show Yellow T-Shirt.

Tickets for the festival are priced on a sliding scale. There are cheap individual show tickets available or a weekend ticket for the entire Go Faster Festival will cost £30 and the price includes a free Go Faster Stripe DVD. In fact every person who attends all shows on a single day can choose a free DVD from any of the recordings from the, now legendary, first GFStival.

The festival kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday Sept 9 and starts again at 2pm on Sept 10.
