News: Josh Returns For Second Series. And Third?

BBC Three sitcom 'Josh' is to return this September for a second series. Starring and written by Josh Widdicombe (and co-writers Tom Craine and Henry Paker), Josh is back for another six episodes. Joining Josh once again are his flatmates Kate (Beattie Edmondson) and Owen (Elis James) plus their annoying landlord Geoff (Jack Dee).

And Beyond The Joke has also heard that the decision has already been taken to make a third series, although this has not been officially confirmed at the moment.

The new series will feature cameo from stars including Mike Wozniak, Miles Jupp, Emma Bunton, Jennifer Saunders, Tamzin Outhwaite and Michael Ball as it once again follows the lives and loves of Josh  - an anxious old man trapped in an anxious young man’s body - and his flatmates.

Things don’t run smoothly for Josh as he gets embroiled with a sexually-voracious cougar, attempts to evict a drug-taking squatter from his flat and tries to end ten years of friendship with the world’s most boring man, a.k.a. Pete The Depressed Potato.

The series is directed by David Schneider (I'm Alan Partridge and The Day Today).
